First Data Acquisition
at SIO
On January 13th 1999, we acquired a 700 km-long pass
of SAR data from ERS-2. The data were focussed the following day. Some
data dropouts occurred because of a disk malfunction and low signal strength.
These two issues are being corrected and we expect to be fully operational
by mid-February.
This swath extends from Central Montanata to the Snake
River Plain in Idaho.
