Diffuse North America/Pacific plate boundary in southern California and northern Baja California, and active geological faulting. The currently operating continuous GPS sites (120) of the Southern California Integrated GPS Network (SCIGN) are indicated by circumscribed red triangles. It is expected that ~255 GPS sites will be installed by mid 1999. Proposed region of investigation is indicated by yellow boxes representing SAR images.
