Office Hours
- Wednesdays 2:15 - 3:15 PM in 1539 Galbraith Hall, or by appointment.
Discussion Section
- Greg will hold an optional discussion section once each week
on Mondays in Peterson Hall 102, from 3:35 to 4:25 PM. You will not be
required to attend the discussion section, but we will go over questions
from lecture and the homework, and you may find it useful.
Grades
- Grades will be based on the midterm (25%) and final exams (50%). In
addition, there will be bi-weekly homework
assignments with a total weight of 25%. Homework
is due one week after it is assigned.
Earth Sciences Program Office
- Should we spark your interest, and you come to want to study the Earth
more full-time, UCSD has an Earth Sciences Program which has an undergraduate
major program. The office is located at 1516 Galbraith Hall, and the program
administrative assistant is Caren
Duncanson. (Hi Caren!) She can give you information on the program
and how to sign up.
