Experiment 1:
This was a test experiment done by Becker and Sandwell on April 22, 2005 to check the equipment.
Experiment 2:
Two accelerometers were deployed off the SIO pier to measure wave motion for 20 minutes. One accelerometer (CH25) floated in a waterproof bag nearby Nick Ward and a second (CH26) was resting on Melissa's longboard to help damp the short waves.
Experiment 3:
This was basically the same experiment but the second accelerometer (CH26) was placed on
Nick's shortboard.
